Wild Flame: the Otter

Worldwide, there is folklore around the mysterious apparitions which form above marshy waters and in the UK we call them will-o'-the-wisps. xTOPIA has reimagined this phenomenon by combining it with personal animal spirits, to create the Wild Flame collection. Featuring the majestic Lion or one of nine beautiful British Isles wild animals, they are all formed from wispy strokes of electric blue, moonlit silver and fiery orange, reflected by the waters from which they rise.

The Eurasian Otter has been in the UK for millions of years and can be found as far east as China, and as far south as North Africa! They communicate via whistles, twittering and spitting sounds but also via over 100 different scents which will be contained in their droppings. Totally adapted for swimming, their homes are holes on river banks called holts.

Made from soft-feel heavyweight cotton, featuring taped neck and shoulders and seamless twin needle collar. Available in sizes from 3 through to 13 years.
